The house was built in 1908 and hás been renovated in 1988-1989.It is located on a residencial street in Santa Teresa, which is becoming a alternative for travelers who want to experience more than just Rio’s touristic side.

 

The house is only some steps away from “Largo das Neves”, where you can take the wooden antique tram, the bus or the taxi to go downtown. On the way down to town you  cross the neighborhood where are the restaurants, bars pubs and craftshops.

 

The house has only one doubleroom, lovely appointed and furnished. The room has private bathroom, inlaid hardwood floor, air-conditioningceiling fan and refrigerator. The guestroom has total privacy.

 

The breakfast is served in a very  nice decorated diningroom, is offered  coffee, milk or tea, cake, bread, cheese, slices of ha mor turkey, scrambled eggs and fruits. The breakfast is served from 8 to 11 o’clock.

The house has a cosy space for reading and also a cable

 

The room’s cleaning is done every day and changing bad and bath linens are done every time is necessary. Laundry service is available. The house has a parking area if the guest arrives by car.

 

The hosts are named Marcio and Ana. Both speak English and Ana speaks French. The couple are always available to give tips on Rio or join guests for a sightseeing around the city.
